What is Poconos Horror Fest?
This festival is aimed at celebrating the hard work that filmmakers put into delivering on wonderful short films. It is our goal to unite our community of artists through screening and celebration to help promote the reality that we LOVE stories and especially the SCARY ones!!
Our festival is open to the Horror genre from all over the world. We also want to promote the work of the next generation of filmmakers and local talents of the North Eastern Pennsylvania area.
As filmmakers ourselves, we understand the cost burden of submitting to film festivals with high entry fees and little substantive reward. We strive to keep our entry fees low and deliver helpful pieces that filmmakers can use to build their cinematic portfolio.
